World Champion Hunter Pleasure Ladies Amateur

22 horses and 88 shoes came in the gate, 87 of those stayed on!!!! How many people does it take to find a lost shoe? 1, but 200 will lean over the rail and look for it!!! By the way, part of that hoof wound up in our seats. Good thing my dog wasn’t up here! He’d have wanted it for a Scooby snack. (I didn’t think hunters generally threw shoes, but I’ve seen more hunters than any other division standing with their foot between the farrier’s thighs. In some countries that’s considered a fetish….). Anddddd, we have the standard go-to songs. YMCA and The Adams Family. Just shoot me now!!!

Golf Cart

LOLOL!!!! As a past golf cart winner, I am sitting here laughing at the confusion happening in center ring. They had everyone try their key and none of them worked (the key can actually go in in both directions, but if you don’t know that you might think your key doesn’t work!!). The problem is, each person dropped their key in a jar when they were finished, so no one knew which key was originally theirs!! Hahahaha!!!! Ooops!! Well, they finally decided to have everyone redraw a key and little gentleman Connor Farley wound up winning it!!! Everyone was cool enough to just let him drive it out of the ring, even though he’s too young to actually drive it!!!! Congrats, Connor!!!!!

World Champion Park Harness Amateur Masters

Scary moment…Whitemud Dixie Danceking and Patricia Lloyd were being helped down the chute by Jim McCleester and he tripped and the wheel went over him, tipping the buggy and causing her to fall out. She was helped up and taken out with the EMT’s and appears to be okay. Such a bummer to not be able to show in your WC because of something so freaky. Hope everyone is all right.
